Questions

Clear answers, before you come in.

These are good questions to ask. If your situation isn’t covered here, call us. We’ll help you understand the next step for your care.

Referrals & coverage

Can I call before I have a VA referral?

Yes. Call or send a general question before you have a referral. Our team can help explain the process. Your VA care team decides whether to refer and authorize your care.

Start without a referral
What clinic name and NPI should I give my VA care team?

Ask for Solvum Health in Colorado Springs. The registered organization is SOLVUM, CO., and our organization NPI is 1235868886. Find the address, phone number and official registry link in our clinic referral details. The VA confirms the provider and care approved for your referral.

How do I request VA massage care?

Talk with your VA care team about whether massage is appropriate for you and whether a Community Care referral to Solvum Health is an option. The VA determines eligibility and approval. Find the steps in our getting started guide.

Will the VA cover my massage?

Coverage depends on your VA referral and authorization. These determine which care is approved, the dates it’s valid and the visits allowed. We’ll review the details before scheduling. A service being on our website doesn’t mean it’s covered for your visit. Ask us about payment arrangements before receiving care outside an authorization.

What is HealthShare Referral Manager (HSRM)?

HSRM is the VA’s system for coordinating referrals and authorizations. Solvum uses it for referral coordination. It’s separate from Jane, our appointment booking system. You don’t need to use HSRM yourself to ask our team a question.

What if my referral hasn’t been approved yet?

Contact your VA care team or Community Care office about the referral’s status. You can also ask Solvum whether we’ve received information. We can explain what we need, but we can’t promise approval or an appointment date before the authorization is confirmed.

Appointments

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Contact our Colorado Springs team to discuss your situation. We’ll review the referral and authorization before scheduling a first VA appointment.

How do I book my first appointment?

Please speak with Solvum first. We’ll confirm your referral, authorization and appointment details. Jane is for existing Solvum patients booking follow-up appointments.

How do I book if I’m already a patient?

Use Solvum’s Jane booking page (opens in a new tab) for your next appointment. If you’re unsure about the remaining visits or dates on your VA authorization, call our team before booking.

How long is an appointment?

An initial VA appointment is typically about an hour, and follow-up appointments are often around 30 minutes. Your authorization determines the appointment type and time available. We’ll confirm the length when scheduling.

What if I need to change my appointment?

Contact Solvum as soon as you know you need a change. Existing patients can also check their appointment options in Jane. Ask our team about the cancellation policy and any effect on your authorized visits.

What happens when my approved visits run out?

Call us before booking more visits. We can review the authorization and discuss coordination with your VA care team. Additional care may need a new or updated authorization, and the VA determines approval.

Comfort & support

What if I haven’t had a massage before?

Tell your therapist. We’ll discuss the visit, your questions and your comfort before starting. You can request changes, pause or stop. Our first visit guide explains what to expect.

Can I ask about accessibility or mobility needs?

Yes. Call before your visit to discuss the entrance, parking, positioning or getting on and off the treatment table. We’ll talk through your needs so you can plan your arrival and determine whether the visit is a good fit.

Can a family member or support person help?

A family member or support person can help you contact us with general questions. Before discussing personal care information, we’ll explain what permission we need. Ask our team in advance if you’d like someone to accompany you to the appointment.

Can I send medical or VA records through the contact form?

Please don’t send medical records, authorization letters, Social Security numbers or other sensitive health information through the general website form. Call and ask our team how referral information should be shared.
